Hey guys,

 

ive been trying to shop on Wincustomize for 2 weeks now using Paypal, but im always told i cant when i go to make the payment...

 

any ideas?

They tell you anything more? Were you trying to use coupons (they don't do that)?

Ok, i buy digital, it goes to paypal, i put in details of my account (which i have no trouble with anywhere else) and always get the message;

 

"We are not able to process your payment using your PayPal account at this time. Please return to the recipient's website to complete your transaction using their regular checkout flow."

 

I have bought various things over the past couple of weeks, and its only this payment giving me problems.

 

I have tried everyday for 10 days now (trying various... ie, Icon Packager, then Windowblinds)

 

no coupons

So i take it then that i cant renew my subscription, buy Icon Packager or buy Windowblinds 7 then?

 

Anyone else having problems with paypal?

Unfortunatley you picked the longest Holiday to do your purchase.  Stardock has been pretty much closed down since the 17th of Dec.  Monday is when everyone comes back, and you can well imagine they will all be busy.

From what I have seen folks trying to make credit card purchases during this Holiday season have also run into some problems if they have been making alot of online purchases.  Banks tend to worry about identity and credit card theft when they see lots of purchases.  It's possibly that paypal was doing the same thing.

Unfortunately, I can't verify a problem or not where I am right now.  I would advise to either use an alternate form of payment, or e-mail sales@stardock.com to have them investigate further.

I will also let them know, but just in case there is a specific issue they know a workaround for.

I've a slightly simlar problem while trying to download Enternchment off both Impulse and the stardock website. Every time I try and finsh placing the order I get "Stardock Store Error" followed by a code and email adress to write. I'm not using paypal but I am using my Visa debit card to pay for it. I know all my information is right and I've tried all the tips the automated email response suggested and still I get the error. I've tried emailing the help adress again but I've yet to get a response.

Have you tried updating to the latest version of your browser (if applicable), using another browser or ordering from another computer? That generic "store error" is something we're still working on resolving and there doesn't seem to be a good way to reproduce the problem.
